Seascapes
A collection of seascapes in the southern coast of England, featuring groynes, sturdy structures that are constructed from the shore into the sea to inhibit the movement of sediment and erosion. These groynes have undergone erosion and decay themselves, due to the relentless ebb and flow of the tide and the fury of the storms. They illustrate the impermanence of the human-made against, and the constant power of, nature.
